Please read this disclaimer and policy letter carefully:

Tui-Na Massage and Therapies: Tui-Na massage involves the skilled application of pressure and manipulation techniques to target areas of tension and discomfort in your body. While it is designed to improve your overall well-being, it is essential to be aware of the following:

  1. Pain Sensations: Tui-Na massage may lead to sensations of discomfort or pain during and after the session. These sensations are not uncommon and are part of the therapeutic process. Your therapist will prioritize your comfort and well-being, so please communicate openly about your comfort levels during the session.

  2. Bruising: In some cases, Tui-Na massage may result in temporary bruising, particularly in areas with acute tension. These bruises are typically minor and will fade with time. They are often indicative of the release of tension and improved circulation.

  3. Individualized Care: Tui-Na massage is highly personalized, considering your unique health conditions, preferences, and needs. Sensations experienced can vary widely from person to person.

  4. Your Comfort: Your comfort matters to us. If you ever feel that the pressure or techniques used during the massage cause excessive discomfort or pain, please inform your therapist immediately, and adjustments can be made.

Traditional Moxibustion Therapy: Moxibustion therapy is a complementary healing technique rooted in Chinese medicine, aiming to promote balance and well-being. While many find it beneficial, its effectiveness may vary:

  1. Consultation: Moxibustion is not a substitute for medical treatment or diagnosis. If you have specific health concerns or conditions, consult with your healthcare provider before seeking moxibustion therapy.

Fire Cupping and Gua-sha: Fire cupping and Gua-sha therapies can lead to skin marks and reactions:

  1. Skin Marks: Fire cupping therapy may result in temporary marks on the skin, ranging from red or pink circles to more pronounced discoloration. Gua-sha may also cause bruising. These are not bruises but rather responses to increased blood flow and the release of stagnant energy.

  2. Blisters: Although rare, blisters may develop in response to fire cupping therapy. Such reactions are considered normal and typically resolve within a few days to a week.

Gua-sha: Gua-sha therapy involves scraping the skin to release tension and promote healing. It is essential to be aware of the following:

  1. Bruising: Gua-sha therapy may result in temporary bruising, often appearing as red or purple marks on the skin. These bruises are a natural response to increased blood circulation and the removal of stagnant energy. They will typically fade over time and are considered a normal part of the therapy.
